Shokz Open Dots 2 - Review 🎧 • Quick breakdown of my ratings Sound Quality - 7/10 For open ear headphones the quality is pretty decent. You won’t get noise canceling features, but the point of open ear is to hear your surroundings. Comfort - 10/10 The clip-on design is lightweight and doesn’t put pressure on your ear. I forgot they I had them on during parts of my run. Battery Life - 10/10 40 hours with the case, 10 hours for each ear bud. This battery life gives you all day use. Design 8/10 I think people are a bit mixed on clip-on headphone designs, but Shokz made these look nice. Mic Quality - 6/10 There is supposed to be some type of bone and air conduction tech mixed in with AI to help voice quality. From my test in the video it sounded too digital and still picked up a lot of background noise. Ease of Use - 9/10 Easy to pair with dynamic ear detection, so the buds can be used on either ear. The Shokz app has an option to customize sound and the buds have pinch and gesture controls. Overall - 8.3/10 At a $200 price point you’re getting a lot of tech packed into a clip-on headphone design.
