I actually got used to locking the bottle after a month of having it, but I did have an accident before then. I noticed my water didn’t stay as cold as my Stanley water bottle. My Stanley water bottle keeps my water cold, but doesn’t fit in my cup holders in my car. It’s also big and bulky.
